Specialist in Transnational Trade Law, he provides legal assistance and advice to public and private companies in the field of commercial and corporate law and public contracts, with a focus on intellectual property, information technology,information and communication law, privacy.
He has assisted Italian and foreign companies in matters of commercial and corporate law, for extraordinary transactions and in the management of corporate contracts.
He has represented public bodies, investee companies and central purchasing bodies in the field of public contracts, with particular reference to procurement carried out using IT tools.
He assists public bodies and private companies in the organisation and regulation of databases, geographical information and cartographic products; ICT contracts, contracts concerning hardware software, software open source, open data and open content, creative commons licences creative commons; projects for the digitisation of public cultural heritage; information, media and media andinformation technology law
He has participated in research and development projects, joint venture agreements and the setting up of consortia.
Since 1996 he has been a lawyer registered with the Turin Bar Association and since 2012 he has been qualified to represent clients before the Court of Cassation.
He lectures in “Media Law” at the Master course in “Design and Multimedia Management for Communication” of the Corep (Consortium for Permanent Research and Education) of the University of Turin. He teaches at the “Industrial Property Course” at Milan Polytechnic and at the Convey “Operational Master course in Intellectual Property and Counterfeiting”.
He lectures on Law No 241/1990 on the administrative procedure for the Ministry of Defence – Training Command and School of Application of the Army He is a member of the working group for the porting of Creative Commons licences to Italy.
He has participated in training projects for public officials in public procurement within the framework of EU Twinning projects for the implementation of EU legislation and international treaties on public procurement and intellectual property in national legislation.
